French-with-Art invites you to learn French Through Art

French-with-Art is born from my passion for both art and languages. I’m an English-French bilingual, artist, art lecturer, education designer and language learning fan.

Through French-with-Art I look forward to sharing my unique language acquisition method with other art lovers and
Francophiles alike.

What are the advantages of combining French language learning and art?
Using art as a visual support helps you expand and solidify your vocabulary while also practicing your speaking and listening skills. At the same time you’re learning about key art concepts and artworks as well as honing your observational abilities.

How does it work?
O
ur programs are centered around small groups that meet live online or at museums. Limited group sizes allow for all to participate and develop both speaking and listening language know-how. Our groups are instructor-led with guided questions that help participants make use of new vocabulary while exploring art in novel and interactive ways.

Do I need an art background?
An art background is welcome but not necessary. All art levels are welcome

What French levels are best for the program?
At this time, our programs typically address intermediate and advanced language levels.

Note: Fluent and native tongue French speakers are also welcome.
